“During the Covid Pandemic, it was difficult to find meaningful activities for our 19 year old son. He wasn't able to attend his usual summer camps or enrichment activities because they had all stopped. His DDA caseworker gave me a list of providers who were still active, and I am so grateful that Enigma was on the list.
After an intake appointment, our son was matched with a life skills coach. At first he did Zoom appointments, but after we were all vaccinated, we started in person appointments. The biggest goal we have for our son is helping him with social engagement. His Enigma coach has helped him identify friends he can hang out with. And then they made plans how to make it happen. Appointments with his coach is one of the highlights of our son's week.
I have seen a lot of growth and maturity since our son has been working with his Enigma coach. He has mastered new skills like taking the community bus in our town. And he knows that there are possibilities for making new friends!”
