Fall Business Program: Maker Space 2019

Description - Fall Business Program will be a simulated business of the group's creation with academic and employment goals. The groups business will focus on Creating their own objects for sale. We will learn and use new technologies such as 3d printers and other tools at maker spaces. 

Group members will learn hands-on real world application of budgeting and working towards a common goal while capitalizing on strengths and compensating for struggles. Each camp member will have ownership and pride in their contributions, overcoming obstacles and being rewarded for efforts in an easy-going environment. If the business creates revenue, the group will plan an exceptional activity to spend their funds.

  • Creating and Executing a Business Plan

  • Budgeting / Planning

  • Advertising / Social Media Skills

  • 3D printing, wood working, and other skills at maker spaces.

  • Working as a Team

  • Real Job Experience

 
ATTENTION!!!!: Registration is a commitment for the whole period

Info:

  • Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  • 8 hours each week

  • Cost $150 per Week or 8 hours of Respite per week
